With the ACT in lockdown and our technicians and administration team at home, we thought we’d give you a little sneak peek of what we’ve been doing to keep our mental health in check during this time. With the lockdown not ending until mid-October, the Voltair team needs to keep busy…
On the administration side of things, we are working daily to respond to all quote inquiries and doing our best to prioritise rescheduling your air conditioning appointments for when we can fully operate again. We’ve loved keeping in contact with customers during this time, and assuring them that the work will get done – when it is safe to do so.
We’ve also set up a tent in the driveway to keep the kids occupied. From time to time, they ask to sleep under the stars, and who are we to deny them of this small joy during lockdown? Ironically, they have called it Camp Covid, and we’re sticking with it.
Just because we’re in lockdown doesn’t mean we can’t keep in touch with our technicians, who are an important part of our business. We’ve asked the team how they’re doing, so you can get to know a little more about them and about Voltair.
One thing about lockdown that you’ve loved?
Mark: Watching movies, Cooking & Playing PS4 🎮
Yu: Chilling and relaxing in the morning ☕
Lloyd: I can catch up some sleep and spend time with my son 👶🏼
What are you watching on Netflix?
Mark: Avengers and X-Men Series 🦸♂️
Yu: I’m watching Demon Slayer.
Lloyd: I binged the Click Bait series and some korean dramas.
One thing you can’t wait to do once the lockdown is over:
Mark: Visit Gibraltar Falls & Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve Park 🌲
Yu: Going to a sauna 🧖♂️
Lloyd: Visiting friends in Sydney and Queensland ✈️
What you miss most about work?
Mark: Working with the team and having lunch together 🍔
Yu: A customer’s smile after completing job 😊
Lloyd: I miss a more scheduled life as I was pretty spoiled at the beginning of the lockdown.
